FR Review:
A.S.M.’s small size (four people) gives the company both flexibility and freedom, their strongest assets. Neil and Barry Korman, a father-and-son team who value their non-union independence, tackle both large electrical installation jobs and tiny service calls. We hear clients appreciate the firm’s expertise and efficiency– and the fact that it brooks no nonsense from even the most prestigious GCs, whether working on a brownstone or a brownout. The company’s small size does have its disadvantages: A.S.M. won’t take on new construction projects and there’s often a wait for service. However, references report that the Kormans show up when they say they will and don’t charge any more than they have to.
Representative Client Comments:
“Won’t let you get stuck in a corner and then shrug his shoulders. He’ll speak up, even if it means less money for him.” “Outspoken and on the ball.”
