FR Review:
Spruce owner Gaige Clark is known for thinking outside the "vase." Whether artfully arranging a dozen roses in a handmade wooden crate or adding fruits and berries to the mix, her arrangements have edge, prompting one customer to state that there is "nothing else like it in New York City." Spruce customers also appreciate the overall quality and value of the work delivered. "I never have to worry when I order from Spruce, the quality is always there," said one satisfied client. Spruce is a full-service florist and has been in business since 1998.
Spruce is by no means cheap, but it has plenty of reasonably-priced options and is a good choice when you want to send something "different" that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. The minimum order is $75, a typical "Thank You" arrangement costs between $100 and $150 and centerpieces start at $100. Same day delivery is available in all five boroughs for arrangements, while centerpieces typically must be ordered at least a day in advance. We hear that the website can be somewhat cumbersome to order from, so it may be best to order in person or by phone.
Representative Client Comments:
"Spruce has a uniquely modern aesthetic that sets them apart." "I wouldn't consider using anyone else." "Reasonably priced when considering the quality and originality." "Because everyone knows that Spruce is my favorite florist, friends and family occasionally send me flowers from them and they are always gorgeous." "I've found the website a bit difficult to use, so I usually order by phone."
