FR Review:
Before there was "Renny & Reed," there was just "Renny." Renny Reynolds came to New York City in the 1970's after completing a degree in landscape architecture in the Midwest. His career was initially focused on designing Manhattan penthouse and terrace gardens, but soon blossomed into a full-fledged floral and event planning career, particularly after Yves St. Laurent and Studio 54 came knocking. In 2000, his nephew and business partner, Reed McIlvaine, came onboard.
Renny & Reed is consistently considered a "classically wonderful choice" for special events and dinner parties, one client calling them "arbiters of fabulousness." From Robert E. Lee's Stratford Hall homestead to the annual Greenwich Hospital Gala, R&R delivers. But Renny & Reed is also a retail shop at heart, with no job considered "too small." As florists, they always do appropriate with flair, with style and substance. References say Renny & Reed is on speed dial not only for event flowers, but also for notable "Thank You" or "Get Well" arrangements.
Renny & Reed's prices are at the high end for events, but they are known to be flexible when it comes to working on a budget. The minimum order is $85, a typical "Thank You" arrangement starts at $100 and large centerpieces start at $250.
Representative Client Comments:
"Amazingly friendly and helpful, given the big name." "They are a great resource for events." "They'll do a smashing job for dinner parties." "Full, lush arrangements without a lot of greens." "Their hallmark is knowing their customers." "Versatile but always in high taste--never garish." "Very accessible." "I always feel well taken care of and respected."
