Company Philosophy
Moving Ahead was established in 1983. We run a 7 day a week operation that goes to great lengths to see that all of our customers needs are satisfied. Our crew consists of trained and knowledgeable men who are experienced in both commercial and residential moves. We have a 25,000 square foot warehouse for any storage purpose and can handle any packing and crating needs.
 
Areas of Expertise / Recent Projects
John Tarko is President of Moving Ahead and sits on the Board of Directors for LIMSA (Long Island Moving and Storage Association). Our recent moves include the entire relocation of the Radio City Music Hall Archives as well as celebrities such as Sheryl Crow, Joan Rivers, Conan O'Brian, Tova Borgnine, etc. Our specialty is packing and moving entire homes with little or no effort on the homeowners part.

Also note Moving Ahead is the official mover for Manhattan Mini Storage. We handle moves at their 13 locations throughout New York City and over the past 10 years have completed thousands of moves for their customers.
