MR’s scope of work extends from ground-up construction and renovation to interior architecture, design and decoration for residential, retail and other commercial spaces. In the 20 years since the firm’s inception, MR has garnered considerable attention from a number of the world’s most prestigious industry publications. One of the more notable projects is solar-powered, geothermal house located in upstate New York, featured in The New York Times ‘T’ Magazine. Other work includes the flagship Christian Dior Men’s and Women’s stores in Manhattan, The Parker PS Hotel in Palm Springs, a private art gallery in the Pacific Northwest, flagship stores for fashion brands Pierre Hardy, Lanvin and J. Mendel, and the first New York boutique for French jewelry designer Aurelie Bidermann. Distinguished residential projects include a 12,000 square foot duplex loft in Soho, a new, ground-up townhouse on the Upper East Side, a Fifth Avenue apartment for a renowned art collector, a model apartment at the One57 tower on Central Park South, and a Park Avenue duplex featured in Architectural Digest. In early 2015, MR completed a 5000 square foot Soho loft, the gut renovation of a 7000 square foot Central Park West apartment and a ground-up, waterfront home on Shelter Island. Current projects include interiors for a luxury highrise in Mumbai, a small, mixed-use, ground-up building in Tribeca, global store development for fashion label 3.1 Phillip Lim with new stores in United States, United Kingdom, France, Japan, Taiwan, Denmark, and United Arab Emirates, the interior design for a luxury residential tower in downtown Manhattan, and a recording studio in Soho.
