Recently completed residential projects and works in progress include the architectural design of a new beach house in Sagaponack, NY, a new summer home in North Haven, NY, a new primary residence / multi-generation family compound in Watermill, NY, a major townhouse renovation to convert a large 30’ wide limestone structure from gallery/commercial into a single family residence, plus several other major townhouse and apartment renovations in the New York area. We have also recently completed several resort and hospitality projects in the Caribbean including Ani Villas, an award-winning pair of luxury villas in Anguilla and are working on cultural projects in Montauk, Istanbul and Bulgaria.

Founder and senior design partner, Lee H. Skolnick, FAIA, was named one of the top 100 architects by Architectural Digest and has served on the jury for the AIA Residential Design Awards. Managing and co-design partner, Paul S. Alter, AIA brings a wealth of experience to the broad range of projects with his expertise in both modern and adaptive re-use projects. In addition to having been named “The Most Innovative” architecture firm by The Best of the Best Luxury Homes magazine and “The Best of the Best” by Home Book’s House of the Year, LHSA+DP has been awarded local, state, and national AIA Design Awards for its residential work.
