Company Philosophy
Richard is the creative eye behind Richard Rabel Interiors + Art, a Manhattan studio offering interior residential design, decorating and art advising services. From apartments in New York and Paris to large properties in Dallas and Sao Paulo, Richard has shown an intuitive knack for uniting architecture, art and objects in unexpected ways that articulate an interior’s visual personality. His is an eclectic modern aesthetic of clean lines with a preference for infusing the design of his rooms with a tightly curated selection of antiques, 20th / 21st century masterworks and bespoke detailing.

Ten years at Christies, where Richard was a Senior Vice President and Senior Specialist; studies in architecture, interior design and engineering; and a lifetime of international travel has cultivated his strengths in design, modernism, beauty and art.

Rich materials, modern forms and original art influence his design philosophy. His exacting eye for shape and proportion, color, balance and harmony layered with textural finishes makes for his unexpected yet familiar interiors.
