Timothy Whealon’s portfolio includes historic houses both in Europe and the United States. He is currently working on a chateau in Switzerland, several residences throughout Manhattan, including a townhouse on the Upper East Side, and two country houses in Southampton, New York.
Timothy Whealon completed the Sotheby’s Works of Art course in London and the apprenticeship program with Sotheby’s New York before opening his offices in 1994. His work has been published in Elle Décor, House & Garden, Architectural Digest, The New York Times Home Section and numerous books. Departures Magazine featured Timothy as one of “the next generation of interior designers,” stating “the designs may be sophisticated and the work of a connoisseur, but they are filtered through an American sensibility. There’s always more than meets the eye.” Additionally, he was recently honored as one of House & Garden’s New Tastemakers for 2005.
