Allison Paladino is an internationally acclaimed interior designer known for designs of high elegance expressed subtly with comfortable and inviting interiors.
House Beautiful recognized her as “One of America's 25 Top Young Designers.” Her work, primarily in Palm Beach and New York, has been featured in regional, national and international design publications, including House Beautiful, Grandeur Magazine, House Trends, Florida Design, Palm Beach Illustrated, Design-et-al (a leading UK design magazine), and two consecutive spreads in Andrew Martin's Interior Design Review, which annually profiles the world's leading designers.
Clients laud Allison's ability to make their dreams a reality with her eye for understated drama and her meticulous attention to detail and organization. She excels in many styles from modern to traditional -- the common denominator is clean lines, warm and inviting interiors. “In a city synonymous with gold-leafed grandeur, her style stands out because of its restraint” says House Beautiful of her work.
Allison's affluent, young clientele express an appreciation for her world-class design credentials, as well as her refreshing flexibility and sense of collaboration. In the world of high-end design, this combination can be difficult to find.
Many of Allison's new clients discovered her in the pages of the New Yorker and Forbes as part of the BlackBerry ad campaign that profiles dynamic, up-and-coming personalities making a mark in their professions.
Prior to establishing offices in Palm Beach and on Park Avenue, Allison spent four years under the tutelage of renowned designer Thomas Pheasant, where she was a key member of his interior design team. She is known for her unique twists on sophistication, from her total redesign of a legendary, 28 thousand square-foot Palm Beach oceanfront estate to the urbane use of space in Robert Stern's newest jewel -- a stunning condominium overlooking Central Park. Her work is characterized by classic combinations, beautiful woods, tactile materials and a hint of the exotic -- often accented with unexpected and eclectic artwork and antiques.
Recently she extended her acumen to the design of home furnishings with a line of high design floor coverings to be introduced by Stark Carpet in 2008. She has also developed a collection of furniture for national distribution.
Allison has a B.A. degree in Interior Design and is a professional member of the ASID and NCIDQ. She is licensed by the state of Florida.
