Company Philosophy
Allison Paladino is an internationally acclaimed interior designer known for designs of high elegance expressed subtly with comfortable and inviting interiors.

House Beautiful recognized her as “One of America's 25 Top Young Designers.” Her work, primarily in Palm Beach and New York, has been featured in regional, national and international design publications, including House Beautiful, Grandeur Magazine, House Trends, Florida Design, Palm Beach Illustrated, Design-et-al (a leading UK design magazine), and two consecutive spreads in Andrew Martin's Interior Design Review, which annually profiles the world's leading designers.

Clients laud Allison's ability to make their dreams a reality with her eye for understated drama and her meticulous attention to detail and organization. She excels in many styles from modern to traditional -- the common denominator is clean lines, warm and inviting interiors. “In a city synonymous with gold-leafed grandeur, her style stands out because of its restraint” says House Beautiful of her work.

Allison's affluent, young clientele express an appreciation for her world-class design credentials, as well as her refreshing flexibility and sense of collaboration. In the world of high-end design, this combination can be difficult to find.

Many of Allison's new clients discovered her in the pages of the New Yorker and Forbes as part of the BlackBerry ad campaign that profiles dynamic, up-and-coming personalities making a mark in their professions.

Prior to establishing offices in Palm Beach and on Park Avenue, Allison spent four years under the tutelage of renowned designer Thomas Pheasant, where she was a key member of his interior design team. She is known for her unique twists on sophistication, from her total redesign of a legendary, 28 thousand square-foot Palm Beach oceanfront estate to the urbane use of space in Robert Stern's newest jewel -- a stunning condominium overlooking Central Park. Her work is characterized by classic combinations, beautiful woods, tactile materials and a hint of the exotic -- often accented with unexpected and eclectic artwork and antiques.

Recently she extended her acumen to the design of home furnishings with a line of high design floor coverings to be introduced by Stark Carpet in 2008. She has also developed a collection of furniture for national distribution.

Allison has a B.A. degree in Interior Design and is a professional member of the ASID and NCIDQ. She is licensed by the state of Florida.

Areas of Expertise / Recent Projects
Palm Beach
One of South Florida's most noteworthy 28,000 square-foot homes perched on 4 acres of Palm Beach's ocean front. Paladino transformed the formal museum-esque interior to a family friendly tropical paradise. Informality and elegance capture the Bohemian personality of the new owners. Highlights: the dining room has a 10' wide antique bamboo alter table with a buttery mahogany top; an intricately carved antique opium bed converted to a wall hanging in their nontraditional Palm Beach living room as well as many late 19th century English Regency antiques in mahogany and rosewood; tropical print fabrics and soft colorful Oushak and agra carpets add warmth.

Palm Beach
The well known Maurice Fatio-designed oasis secluded on five acres of Palm Beach's ocean front known as “The Reef.” This was an enormous renovation changing a cold, austere interior to warm and tactile home that is an inviting retreat for her Manhattan clients. Highlights: the home is loaded with fabulous understated antiques Paladino found in Italy, England, France, New York and Palm Beach. The monochromatic interior created the perfect backdrop to the client’s outstanding art collection including Miro, Chagall, Botero, Dufy, and a couple of beautiful Japanese antique screens. The home has many Oushak, Agra and Spanish Savonerie Carpets.

Palm Beach
A Mizer-esque Mediterranean masterpiece that reflects the client's fondness for color and unique pieces. Paladino worked hand in hand with the architect on the exterior and interior space planning. She also designed the entire interior architecture from the ceiling, moldings, stair, baths, kitchen, cabinetry and floor finishes to the furniture and accessories. Highlights: the unique dining room beamed ceiling was designed around a hand carved Indonesian panel, intricate stone patterns inspired by Mizner using honed Jerusalem stone and Alhambra limestone; Paladino designed a faux bamboo TV cabinet for their family room as well as a sapeli mahogany library and a zebra wood media center that houses a 108” screen and audio equipment for the client's media room.
