Company Philosophy
Margaret Moore is known for her clean, modern approach to creating interiors that are both visually sophisticated and equally comfortable. She believes that an essential part of healthy living is an organized, clutter-free space and she combines rich textures, furnishings and finishes to create elegant and appealing spaces. She often customizes storage solutions to optimize the space in a room and she will work with an architect if the project requires it but very skilled at designing and managing interior construction projects on her own. When she can’t find the appropriate piece of furniture for a space, Margaret will design her own furniture, which she likes to mix with mid-century American, French, and English antiques. She prefers a neutral background with bursts of color emanating from pillows, throws, and floor coverings. Margaret is committed to making the design process a pleasant and fun experience for her clients.

Margaret studied art history and English at Vanderbilt University and received a masters in interior design from George Washington University. After a brief stint in commercial architecture in Washington, DC, she moved to New York where she worked Pamela Banker Associates and Eve Robinson Associates. Margaret opened MPM Design in 2002 in New York, relocated to Los Angeles in 2004, and continues to work on both coasts.
