Areas of Expertise / Recent Projects
MAGNI KALMAN DESIGN – RECENT PROJECTS 1. A sprawling 16,000 square foot contemporary estate, on the California coast in the Pacific Palisades. Designed with fine natural materials, such as cleft limestone, mahogany and walnut, this warmly organic residence houses an impeccable collection of highly-prized art and furniture. Precise design details were key to building an architectural masterpiece. 2. An 8,000 square foot ski home in the Yellowstone Club, Montana. Built for a family to indulge in their favorite pastime, this design was intended as a contemporary take on a chalet-style lodge. Witty and fun spaces blended seamlessly with high-styled spots for rest and entertainment. 3. Remodel of an original Richard Neutra home in Los Angeles. The owner of this historical residence wanted to keep all the originality of the architect’s vision, but update it for today’s entertaining. A studied approach to design was required to meet the client’s needs, while retaining the important features of Neutra’s work.
