All Makes Heating and Air-Conditioning (AMHAC) specializes in challenging high-end retrofits and serves as a full-service HVAC contractor that clients call "thoughtful and reliable." With more than 40 years in the business, we're told this well-equipped firm serves more than 15,000 residential and commercial customers in Manhattan, the Bronx and Fairfield and Westchester counties. Clients are impressed by the company's "professional" and "polite" staff of 70 which includes design engineers, licensed electricians and field technicians. We hear this team tackles the most complex installations and the most mundane maintenance items with equal dedication.
Still, it's the intimidating projects, like multi-zone hot-water heating systems and radiant-floor heating, that have the region's most discriminating general contractors turning to AMHAC. The firm, one of only two Carrier Distinguished Dealers in the area, also specializes in Alerton Systems and, as the name implies, can work with pretty much any and all makes.
Their 30,000-square-foot Eastchester facility showroom displays different types of heating and air-conditioning units as well as zoning controls, lighting controls and more. AMHAC's deep resources, which include a fleet of service vehicles, enable it to offer 24-hour heating and 48-hour AC response times. Response can be even quicker if you have an ongoing maintenance contract. AMHAC also offers Saturday office hours and 24/7 phone service. Cost is often at the high end of the scale, but customers insist that it's worth it.
