Owner, Anthony Fiorin, who started the company in 2003, began his enterprise with the goal of bringing trustworthiness back to the moving industry. With Extraordinary, clients know their movers by name and can even call them if they want. Fiorin is on every single job, which serves the “family feel” of the company very well. We hear that he photographs everything down to the change on the dresser and personally measures everything and to ensure it is put back exactly the way it was in the new home.
Despite movie stars and other A-list clients, Extraordinary Movers has stayed small. With five trucks and ten guys, over half of whom are full-time employees, Extraordinary is able to devote personalized energy to each job. Prices are on par with other high end moving service and Extradordinary has insurance up to $2 million, but can purchase more on request per job. We hear loyal clients come back with remarkable consistency considering the transient nature of the business.
