Roy Michael’s Salon gives elegant and timeless haircuts that are known to "look great whether you blow dry or air dry." The expertly trained staff consistently delivers flattering cuts that keep "great shape" even as they grow out, minimizing the number of visits customers need to make to the salon. (Insider’s tip: If you’d like a different or more daring cut, Roy, the owner, is a skilled professional but if you’re looking for something classic, Nana is the best!). Beyond the styling, Roy Michael’s also has talented colorists who are adept at giving you the color you desire while making it look natural. Elsa, the top colorist, is a true genius and has passed on her techniques to the rest of the staff.
Opened in 2002 at the prime location of 56th between Park and Lex, Roy Michael’s has consistently provided a great service at a much lower price than most high-end Manhattan salons. The outdoor patio is an added bonus, as you can sit in the sun and read a magazine while you wait for your color to set.
