FR Review:
 Feast & Fêtes is the catering division of star chef Daniel Boulud's food empire. Boulud, born and bred in Lyon, France, has been cultivating "New French" cuisine in the United States since 1982. Under Managing Director Jean-Christophe Le Picart, Feast & Fêtes draws on the signature dishes of Daniel, Cafe Boulud, Bar Boulud and DB Bistro Moderne, but will also accommodate any culinary requests. This increasingly popular caterer's services extend far beyond just food--we hear the team is highly skilled when it comes to venue layout, decor and professional serving. "Expect high standards and full service," said one repeat client.

And while the day-to-day operations of large-scale catering can differ drastically from the more intimate private dining Boulud is known for, Feast & Fêtes has considerable in-house catering know-how. Managing Director Jean-Christophe Le Picart co-founded Tentation Catering, which reigned supreme on the NYC catering scene before he sold it in the early 90's. Le Picart joined forces with Boulud to debut Feast & Fêtes over fifteen years ago, and the company's popularity and reach have grown considerably, particularly for weddings and corporate events.

Our event was an IMMENSE success! I cannot begin to tell you the ecstatic remarks from every single guest in attendance that I heard from. The majority common exclamation was: "Absolutely the most elegant party I have ever been to". When it comes to this guest list of sophisticated party goers, that is saying quite alot. The combination of talents between production by Carmona Design and catering by Feast & Fetes, we certainly did accomplish that. EVERYONE - EVERYONE that I spoke to was absolutely enthralled by the food... I know this very specifically from several I spoke to - the client was beside himself stating how he didn't think it was possible, but we certainly outdid ourselves. And then from those guests in attendance at so many of their parties - including me - they all said it was THE BEST MEAL EVER... words heard : "absolute perfection from beginning to end - not one flaw"... now who can ever say that about a catered meal, except for from Feast & Fetes.

The Foie Gras was delectable - and the main course - the veal, oh my, so many complimentary textures between the crispy sweetbreads, chestnut and artichoke - - it was so unbelievably delicious - everyone wanted another plate!... and then of course we go to the Poached Pear for dessert - sheer elegance... the beauty of the plate with that marvelous touch of Gold Leaf (I nearly died when I saw they added that little "touch" - a glint of gold - THANK YOU!)... By the way - I do believe that those who wrote in their non-serious food preferences - I sat next to a couple of them - were in fact disappointed in the end that they did not have the original meal intended!!

Now - let's also address the service - impeccable - again - elegant - loved the black gloves (loved the subtleness of using black over white gloves which can be a little "too" depending upon the event/client of course)... and Head Captain Alfredo assured there were no missteps as always. You really pulled off a masterpiece in this difficult space with a tremendous amount of last minute wrenches thrown in. Please relay our praise to the Chef - he should be EXTREMELY proud of his work.

Finally - Andres' words to you: "No one need ever doubt when Carmona Design and Feast and Fetes are running the show - the quality level of excellence of food and ambiance reign supreme - one is assured of tremendous success when Jean-Christophe and I are involved!"

The events were a great success in large part because of the support of Feast and Fêtes and Mr Lepicart personal commitment to the project. The planning was impeccable, the service outstanding and the food divine. Throughout it all, they were a delight to work with and I appreciate their thoughtful recommendations and attention to every detail. It was a great pleasure to work with their team and look forward to other opportunities in the future.

Bottom Line:
We greatly appreciated their guidance in selecting the menu and the wonderful wines to accompany the meal. Each course was deliciously prepared with great care and expertise and was then served with impeccable timing and precision.

Our event was a spectacular success on every count. We are grateful to Feast and Fetes and to the entire team who interpreted our vision and created the sights, tastes and aura of our step back in time. The meal they created was a magnificent interpretation of the era. The service was supreme.
I greatly appreciate the standard of excellence and professionalism displayed by Feast and Fetes.
I look forward to working with them again in the near future.
