FR Review:
Feast & FĂŞtes is the catering division of star chef Daniel Boulud's food empire. Boulud, born and bred in Lyon, France, has been cultivating "New French" cuisine in the United States since 1982. Under Managing Director Jean-Christophe Le Picart, Feast & FĂŞtes draws on the signature dishes of Daniel, Cafe Boulud, Bar Boulud and DB Bistro Moderne, but will also accommodate any culinary requests. This increasingly popular caterer's services extend far beyond just food--we hear the team is highly skilled when it comes to venue layout, decor and professional serving. "Expect high standards and full service," said one repeat client.
And while the day-to-day operations of large-scale catering can differ drastically from the more intimate private dining Boulud is known for, Feast & FĂŞtes has considerable in-house catering know-how. Managing Director Jean-Christophe Le Picart co-founded Tentation Catering, which reigned supreme on the NYC catering scene before he sold it in the early 90's. Le Picart joined forces with Boulud to debut Feast & FĂŞtes over fifteen years ago, and the company's popularity and reach have grown considerably, particularly for weddings and corporate events.
