From the state-of-the art equipment to the back-massaging dental chairs, Dr. Jeffrey Dressel and his staff go to "great lengths" to ensure that patients receive top care in a relaxing environment. The practice is popular among nearby families for general checkups, but full services also include root canals, crowns and dentures. New patients are likely to face a calendar booked out "a month or more," but we hear that existing patients are "speedily accommodated" in emergencies and that efficient scheduling makes waiting room time "nearly nonexistent."
Dr. Dressel comes from a line of Brooklyn-based dentists that goes back to 1923. He took the family business over in 1996, following completion of his dental studies at New York University. Dressel is praised for being "patient with his patients," taking the time to explain treatments and get insight on each person's background. The recently remodeled office is "refreshingly stylish" and services are recommended as "reasonable" even for those without dental insurance. Cleanings start at $115 and all new patients are offered a free consultation.
