FR Review:
Sayeh Pezeshki of The Office Stylist does not believe that an office has to be a cluttered place where you spend your day toiling in a drab room. She has created a business out of her chic take on the workplace. Modern, clean lines with a few distinctive glamour pieces characterize her work. Examples include a mother of pearl chandelier and wallpapers with metallic patterns. She also uses brightly colored walls, custom bulletin boards, contact paper and glitzy lighting to jazz up lackluster spaces. Additionally, Pezeshki’s offices are as functional as they are fun to look at. She’s known for her creative use of wall space and is also adept at manipulating a variety of different areas. (A particularly interesting design is her closet office.)

Pezeshki is adamant that The Office Stylist is not an interior-decorating firm. While working on her retail store and virtual magazine, Sorting with Style, Pezeshki found that she had a talent for not only the organization but also the beautification involved in office design. The Office Stylist consists of Pezeshki, a publicist and an assistant. Standard clients, who take advantage of the firm’s virtual packages, are all over the country. However, most of her in-person projects are in the Los Angeles area. Most often, clients are individuals or small companies with four or fewer employees.

Pezeshki works in a few different ways. She often does virtual consultations that include space planning, a timeline and a stopping list. Prices are a flat fee of $750 for an entire office and $100 for a single desk. For an in-person project, she charges a design feel, a high hourly for services above and beyond the initial design and a low markup over net purchases. Clients tell us for a quick re-do on a budget, Pezeshki’s virtual designs are very helpful and have a fun do-it-yourself feel. Overall, her fresh and youthful take on the office should appeal to younger clients and charm the working-from-home crowd.
