The company buys, sells, cleans, repairs and restores antique, semi-antique, modern handmade area rugs and new decorative rugs. The firm’s 4,500-square-foot showroom in Manhattan (and another showroom in Washington, D.C.) are open to the public and the trade.
The company boasts a wide selection of rugs, from scatter to oversized–as well as mansion-sized rugs. The Pasargad website also allows customers to fill out a form with information on size, color and design. They, in turn, will send back a digital photo that most closely matches the request with no obligation to purchase.
This firm’s sophisticated clientele varies from decorators, dealers, homeowners and distinguished private collectors who come from Manhattan, Washington, New Jersey, the West Coast and Canada. Cleaning and restoration are done in-house and are heavily supervised.
