FR Review:
“Offbeat” and “laid back” David Cohen nonetheless attacks stains with “amazing” results, sources say. Cohen does most of his firm’s work himself, so he gets the credit for the high level of customer service the company has maintained since its establishment in 1983. Cohen cleans area rugs, wall-to-wall carpets, upholstery, fabric blinds, fabric walls and draperies both on- and offsite, mostly for residential customers. While Cohen doesn’t do restoration work, he will do minor repairs. Pricing is by the square foot with a minimum of $190 per project. Celebrity clients like Michael Moore, Kate Spade and Ann Bass join some of the city’s top designers and furniture makers in calling on Cohen for repeat business. References praise the quality of the work and the excellence of Cohen’s professional conduct, saying he is always pleasant, prompt, straightforward about pricing and trustworthy.

Representative Client Comments:
“Easy to work with.” “Really great with tough stains–nail polish, cranberry juice, etc.” “The rugs look like new.” “Not cheap, but very fair.” “Great at troubleshooting.” “We were ready to get new carpeting, but he somehow managed to repair our old one.” “Performed miracles on our carpet.” “David Cohen is the only carpet, drapery and upholstery cleaning service that I use for my clients.”

Project Description & Comments:
David Cohen is the only carpet, drapery and upholstery cleaning service that I use for my clients. I have had the pleasure of working with David for over fifteen (15) years. David is always prompt, courteous, and brings many, many years of knowledge to each challenging new project. I recently had David clean a white sofa for my client who has an active one year old child. The results that David produced only in this last project speak for themselves. I typically give his contact information to all of my clients once I finish their homes so that they can engage his services on their own as needed in the future. He is a wonderful resource and a great gentleman.

Project Description & Comments:
“David Cohen of Cohen Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning is a miracle worker. Over the last 6 months, he successfully has removed bright red lipstick from a wall to wall off white carpet, a grease stain on another wall to wall carpet, as well as a food stain from a dining room chair. I highly recommend him.”
