FR Review:
Sutton Carpet cleans, repairs, sells, restores and installs wall-to-wall carpets and all types of area rugs. The company is managed by husband-and-wife team Ray and Diane Martine. This residential and commercial company also cleans leather, chenille, upholstery and fabric walls, and custom makes rugs at all price points in its own plant in the Bronx. The company has three cleaning crews, all of which are licensed by the New York Rug Cleaners Institute and by the Association of Cleaning and Restoration Specialists. Cost is determined by the square footage, with a minimum of $215. Their showroom on Park Avenue is by appointment only.
The firm, now celebrating its 34th year in business, has done major projects for Cushman & Wakefi eld, The Joyce Theater, Henry Mancini, Park Avenue Tennis & Racquet Club, UN Plaza and Scalamandre, to name a few. Sutton Carpet also does some projects in parts of New Jersey, Connecticut, Westchester, the Hamptons and Long Island.
