This large long-established firm manufactures and installs an impressive array of window shades and wall upholstery. We hear its product Vitruv (a durable tinted plaster wall surface, which comes in a variety of colors) is getting great reviews from industry insiders.
Founded in 1948, DFB is still run by the Fein family and now employs over 100. Measurements and installations are performed by the firm's own people, who are roundly praised for timely service and good project management by its corporate clients. We understand one of DFB's areas of expertise is its motorized shades. The firm services notable commercial and high-end residential clients all over Manhattan. References have found its window shades to be especially high quality, and a good value for the price.
