In just five years, Julian Aranda has amassed an impressive list of loyal clients who praise both his craftsmanship and creativity. A licensed brick mason and tile setter, he also works with marble, slate and other natural stone, and has recently added the glazing of ceramic tiles to his repertoire. He works on installations throughout Chicago and at local clients' summer homes in Michigan.
In addition to their high regard for his artistry, clients admire his knowledge of the materials and his ability to explain how he works. They also say he's dependable, "meticulous" and hard working. Aranda's fee structure is the only thing that's not set in stone. Depending on the project, he'll charge by the square foot or the hour.
