Ragsdale is a family business that's catered to the upper-level market in Chicago's northern suburbs since 1977. The firm employs two master-trained painters for murals and trompe l'oeil and also is said to excel at faux boiserie and other fabulous fakes, glazing, striae and marble patterning and Venetian plaster. Cients also rely on owner Steve Ragsdale and his crew to "age"cabinets with crackled and distressed finishes and hang wallpaper.
