FR Review:
This 40-year-old family-run business specializes in fine finishes, but also restores antiques and works on fine contemporary furniture. The current principal, Dan Schubring, learned the trade from his father, who studied under European craftsmen. Schubring and his 10-person team work all over the Chicago area for a client list that includes designers, private clients and large companies. Most of the work is done in the studio, and pick-up and delivery service is available. Estimates are offered over the phone for free, or on-site for a small fee.
