The "old-guard of LA upholstery," JJ Custom is valued by top-tier LA decorators for its years of experience with the classic California style. This firm's track record of excellent quality, versatile skills and dependable production goes back to 1965. The to-the-trade company crafts high-end upholstery in its own frame shop and masterfully fabricates pillows, bedding and some case goods, including tables and mirrors.
JJ Custom is truly a family affair; founder Gerald Jebejian's daughters Kathy Kagan and Jenny Skinner (along with Jenny's husband Matt) have taken over the business, leading a team of 25. The company's 2,400 square foot showroom has been called "an inspiration" by its celebrity designer clientele. We're told that JJ Custom's workroom primarily uses "arc" or "continuous" springs with extra-sturdy premium alder frames. The firm's outstanding custom pieces fall within the "good" price range and are generally delivered in 8-10 weeks.
