FR Review:
Insiders say that Memrie Lewis, considered one of the most amazing landscape designers in the Connecticut/Westchester area, has definitely found her calling. Part of what sets Lewis apart from her competitors is that she chooses properties and projects where she feels "empathy for the land." Lewis began her career in 1991 at the suggestion of interior designer David Easton, who had observed her renovation of the 1911 azalea garden on her own property over many years. Sources say that she is the the one to call if you want your house to look like it belongs to the land. Lewis also makes sure that the plants she uses will make her designs glow and bloom year-round.

Lewis takes on around five projects a year and depending on the size of the job, a landscape can cost anywhere from $50,000 to $850,000. Clients say that in addition to her vast knowledge of plant material and softscape, she is also good with hardscape and swimming pool design. Lewis has worked with a number of acclaimed architects and interior designers and her clientele includes many celebrities and socialites.

Representative Client Comments:
"My terrace was ripe, lush and incredibly beautiful in less than a year. There was a stunning rose arbor, Japanese yews, flowering crabapples with red berries in the winter." "When I sold my place, the new buyers really bought the garden." "I have one word that best describes Memrie--talented!"
