Founded in 1982 by the husband-and-wife team Joe and Jan Malone, Malone was originally a small firm specializing in residential construction. The firm is no longer small (nor is it owned by the Malones), but it is recommended by industry insiders as a "sure bet" for residential construction work of any kind. Though many firms in Florida offer the same range of services (panel upgrades, rewiring, custom lighting installation, standby generators, pool electrical systems, etc.), sources emphasize that Malone stands out: its prices are fair; its technicians are knowledgeable and seem to enjoy what they're doing; and the company's work will stand the test of time (and weather).
