This ten year old company operated by Doug Sykes provides “top-quality” interior and exterior painting services, including skim coating, staining, refinishing, cabinet detailing, faux finishing, straight painting and wallpapering. We hear that Sykes, who started out behind the counter, brings a wealth of logistical project management experience and an almost excessive technical knowledge to the table. He is a member--and former chapter president--of the Painting & Decorating Contractors of America, as well as a member of the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce.
With a modest size crew of 10, Sykes and company may not be one of the big fish in this small pond, but they are said to provide a “high-end, quality job” comparable to that of some of the veteran painting contractors in the area. Sykes, who still gets his hands dirty, prefers keeping his team small to ensure that each client and project is given the attention it deserves. Their service area extends from Palm Beach to Miami, which is a big plus. Customers are also pleasantly surprised by their prices, which are said to be an “outstanding value.”
