Company Philosophy
Paula + Martha believe in a classic, comfortable, and refined approach to interior design, with a touch of the unexpected and a strong emphasis on fine art.

Paula Caravelli and Martha Angus began their collaboration at Naomi Leff and Associates, working on projects for a number of prestigious clients including Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani, and the Lauder Family.

Paula Caravelli has won international design competitions for Christian Dior and Galleries Lafayette in Paris. Martha Angus studied at the Ecole Des Beaux Arts in France, Carnegie Mellon University, and Sotheby’s Restoration in New York. Both Paula and Martha are painters at heart and bring a fine arts approach to design by combining contemporary art with a tailored and eclectic mix of furniture.

Paula + Martha have been featured in publications such as Elle Décor Magazine, The New York Times, Architectural Digest, Town & Country, and Vogue Australia Living. Martha’s Napa weekend home aired on the PBS show FIND! and Paula’s NYC apartment was featured in both the 2006 Architectural Digest and the 2007 Junior League Home Tours. Paula + Martha participated in the 2005 Kips Bay Decorator Showhouse and the 2006 House & Garden Hampton’s Designer Showhouse.
 
Areas of Expertise / Recent Projects
Both residential and commercials projects have included locations close to home and as far away as Paris, Japan, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Singapore, Australia and the Hawaiian Islands. The range of their distinctive design talent and expertise lends itself as appropriately to a grand estate as it does to a private jet spanning the globe.
