Manhattan Cooperative Apartment Renovation, 1,650 SF
Working with a dynamic real estate CEO/aspiring writer, the design team embraced the constraints of a post-war building while opening the interior to accommodate expansive, light-filled living spaces. The dramatic renovation transformed the 1960’s carpet and mirror-clad series of narrow, dimly lit spaces into a bright, open apartment. Flexible living and storage combinations give the client the freedom to adapt the space to changing needs. The continuous living area shape-shifts for entertaining or relaxing while also providing private sleeping quarters when needed.
