Company Philosophy
We believe that listening to our client's needs and understanding their lifestyle is the most important part of the design process; it is then up to us to transform these ideas and dreams into reality. The client needs to be allowed to express his or her inner self. Our job is to then guide the client through the design process from start to finish and to help them make the best design decisions. Stylistically our projects range from the classic to the contemporary, but we always infuse our work with a sense of tradition and timeless design. We firmly believe in thinking differently and are constantly reinventing out style. Consequently, no two of our designs ever look alike. Each is absolutely tailored to the needs of the client. This fluidity of design keeps our projects fresh.

Areas of Expertise / Recent Projects
Recent projects in New York include the restoration of a 19th century brownstone on the Westside; the combining of three apartments on East End Avenue; the design and decoration of a parlor-floor apartment; and the design and decoration of a ten-room apartment on Fifth Avenue. Other commissions include a barn as well as the restoration of two historic properties in Salisbury, Connecticut. Also, Eric Cohler has designed houses and apartments in Boston, Chicago, Long Island and the Cayman Islands. Classically trained in art history and historic preservation, he often works with art and antiques and combines his skill as a designer with the eye and knowledge of a collector. He has recently completed the installation of a client's museum quality collection of photographs in a Manhattan townhouse and has assisted the director of a major museum with the display of his personal art collection.
