Amanda Nisbet’s schemes delicately represent a balance between function and style. Affection for the client’s needs, usage of playful color, texture, and comfort all blend to create her trademark easy elegance.
 
Areas of Expertise / Recent Projects
Amanda Nisbet founded Amanda Nisbet Design, Inc. in 1998 and has successfully completed numerous high-end, residential interior design projects throughout the country. Amanda recently created a beautiful master bedroom for the 39th Annual Kips Bay Decorators Showhouse in April 2011, which was highlighted in the New York Times. She has also been featured in many shelter publications including: Elle Décor, Traditional Home, House Beautiful, Veranda, The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal. Her keen attention to detail, expert use of color and the exceptional ability to turn her clients’ dreams into reality have been instrumental to her success. Amanda launched her eponymous fabric collection in 2009 through Holland & Sherry and has recently launched a second collection of lighting for the Urban Electric Company.
