Project Description & Comments:
We just purchased this house 2 months prior, and it needed some renovations. I intereviewed four different contractors and Martins Construction was the only company who seemed professional, experienced, and willing to do the work according to my exact description.
We met three times prior to signing the contract, and I must say that communication was very open and timely with these guys. The contract was signed and work started several days later.
The craftsmaship was outstanding, and the process with which it was done was time effective.Overall,I love the new bathroom, and the new windows which are energy efficient. Rob also went to all the steps necessary to make sure I get the energy rebate due to the new windows. This was kind of him, as it would be expected that I do that on my own.
I also am very pleased with the new deck. I had old wood, and was going to replace it with wood, but Rob suggested to use Trex which is a wood composite. It was much more expensive than the wood, but it did come with a lifetime warranty and since this is a newly purchased house, I plan on being here for a while.
Overall, I am very pleased with this company and the services they performed. There were no glitches, no delays and really nothing to complain about. They were also very punctual, clean, and professional with their work habits. I would definitey rehire them for later projects (they did show me multiple contracts from returning clients which is a good sign). I hope this report helps the reader

Bottom Line:
There isn't anything we would change with the entire project.
The price was very reasonable and there were no surprises. The final bill was actually less than the estimate.
We will always turn to Martins Construction for any work on our home.
Project Description & Comments:
We own a 1929 home in a Historic Preservation Zone and the home falls under the Mills Act which requires approval of all interior and exterior changes from the Los Angeles Historical Architect. We are trying to maintain the home and correct earlier modifications that were not consistent with the home style. After a wonderful experience with Martins Construction in the remodeling of the master bath, we hired them again for a remodeling of the kitchen. They completely demolished the old kitchen and replaced everything, including the floors and windows. The work included planning, design, rough carpentry, electrical, plumbing, installing new custom wood cabinets, hardwood floors, tile, countertop, lighting, appliance installation, window installation, and painting.
We couldn't be more pleased with the results. Robert Martins was personally involved and gets as excited with the project as we do. He has great ideas that complement our desires and is great to work with. He has an excellent team of craftsmen that had also participated in the bathroom remodeling, so clearly he relies on them for his jobs.

Project Description & Comments:
My family and I we're looking to add an additional bathroom to our house as well as remodeling our kitchen but were looking for a company that was able to do it all! Rob came by and was able to give me a quote based on what we wanted and was able to start work shortly after we approved the estimate. Rob answers all of my annoying questions as well as making sure everything was done to my OCD specifications.
