This local security design and installation firm is said to be "one of the last of the local guys that compete with the big national companies." With 180 employees and a reputation across New York and Connecticut for providing some of the best service around, All-Time Detection is a popular choice. Michael D. Backer is the principal of this firm, which was established in 1960 by Donald Sperber.
Most of the company's work comes by way of trade referrals from architects, builders and engineers, but All-Time welcomes inquiries from homeowners and business as well. The firm has 24-hour repair service, its own UL certified alarm monitoring facilities in Port Chester, New York and Milford Connecticut and handles all forms of security issues from digital video surveillance and Intrusion detection to burglar and fire alarm systems.
All-Time boasts a service fleet of 38 trucks and scores of certified installers. And when it comes to on-site training, Backer has a staff (seriously) whose sole job is to make sure clients know how to use their system. Monitoring rates are competitive and service costs are on the high-end.
