FR Review:
Howard Burr of Burr Graal Glass assembles building elements “creatively” and “smoothly,” impressing even the most jaded New Yorker. Customers tell us that the firm “rises to the challenge” of Manhattan residential construction. Flexible and accommodating, the forthright Burr “clicks with even the most demanding personalities.”

Burr, who grew up in Connecticut, had mastered cabinetry by his early teens. He holds both an MFA in sculpture from the Maryland Institute and an MBA from NYU. Clients, who include artists and Wall Streeters, find Burr to be an “on- the-job impresario” who is nevertheless “always reachable.” He and his team are said to be "true gentlemen" and "ambassadors for their craft." They tell us that Burr asks questions and does “scrupulous research” in order to meet the detailed requirements of each project on its stated budget. Renovations of raw downtown lofts and refined uptown penthouses come with budgets between $500,000 and $2 million. Burr also maintains a healthy number of smaller main- tenance projects responding to market demand, as well as ongoing support for their clients and referrals.

Representative Client Comments:
“Howard takes pride in his work has great subs and sticks to the time frame.” “As an architect, I will say he knows his stuff and often pushes us–but we’re OK with it.” “How- ard’s word is bond.” “Aims the budget for you.” “I was so impressed with quality, price and professionalism that I recommended Howard to many of my architect and contractor friends who have now used him for more than six projects–all with great success, including some of their own residences.” “Opinionated but always has good suggestions.” “He communicated effectively with my architect and brought matters to our attention that needed further detailing so that the project could stay on schedule.” “No shortcuts with this firm–good craftsmanship.”
