Project Description & Comments:
I hired Doug Bialor to do several items, including a TV unit and shelves, a butler's pantry, a bedroom dresser, and a bathroom cabinet and mirror.Doug's workmanship and professionalism was fantastic. The quality of his work is of the highest nature. The pricing is high but relative to the level of the high quality, I believe the value one gets is enviable and the price is reasonable. The most impressive thing about Doug is that he really cares about his work, and making sure everything fits and is perfect. As a fellow perfectionist who cares about his work, this really impressed me. Doug came back a couple times to tweak a door so that the fit went from 99.5% to 99.9999%. I strongly recommend Doug for your next millwork project or piece of furniture.

Bottom Line:
I'd never use anyone else. I already recommended Doug to neighbors and friends. THEY asked me!
Project Description & Comments:
I had no idea what I wanted in a large one bedroom apartment in Manhattan, but knew I needed a lot more storage, display space, and to rip out some shelving which was low-end built-ins done by a closet company. I'd always wanted to live in a pre-war apartment in Manhattan but after almost 30 years, I gave up. I told Doug "just help me feel like I live on Park Avenue." I now have three long walls in my living room and dining room which are fit for a Queen and her 'stuff.' I am so thrilled with the job he did, and all the nifty tricks my units can do. I even have pocket doors for often-used office equipment and bar area. I have high hat lighting over a buffet area which goes on at the wave of the hand over a motion sensor with 3 levels of "dimmer." I have tall double-door glass cabinets, deep double cabinets, drawers galore for platters and trays, and long deep legal sized file cabinets. Drawers glide as if on air and doors hang perfectly. I even asked him to do a long window valance with matching moldings and he did that too. The mouldings are gorgeous everywhere I look. Doug even advised me on my window treatments, ideas for a new writing desk so not to clash with the wall units, and even the new paint job that the rest of the apartment should take. // I couldn't be happier with the job Doug and Hat Factory Furniture did for me ! I can't sing his praises loud enough, and -- with the job only finishing last week-- have not even done so in person (yet) to this extent, so thank you for the opportunity to tell him this way.

Project Description & Comments:
Hudson Cabinetry Design is a top-notch, professional cabinetry company that we used for several built-in projects (desks, shelving, media unit) in our new Brooklyn home. We reached out to Doug Bialor, the owner, because we'd had a terrible experience with another builder. He immediately responded with a visit and then a thoughtful, reasonably-priced proposal while also suggesting some important design adjustments to our original drawings. We liked his ideas so much that we asked him to redesign two of the units. Throughout our projects (two separate installations), Doug was patient, professional and offered smart suggestions. He responded to our many questions efficiently and effectively. As for the work, it's extremely high quality. We were delighted by the details and workmanship that resulted in three very beautiful projects. It's also worth mentioning that Doug's crew is amazing: They cleaned up each day of installation, cared about protecting our floors and furniture and were ve
