Gateway is a second-generation family-owned firm that caters to a high-end residential crowd. Helmed by brothers John and David Cateneo, the company is noted for going the extra mile to achieve the expertise, decorum and delicacy required for top-tier projects (and high profile clients). This ranges from staffing and training plumbers who are capable of dealing with a $12,000 fixture to staying at the front lines of technology (want to turn up the heat from your iPhone? Gateway can make it happen). This is not a number to frantically pluck out of the phone book at random and call for a late-night emergency; rather, clients develop relationships with Gateway and come to think of them as “part of the team.”
Fielding a staff of eighteen, Gateway offers service seven days a week, with a few trucks on the road nights and weekends for emergencies. The rates are certainly on the higher side, though by no means over-the-top exorbitant. Overall, clients are happy to pay a little extra knowing they have a smart, friendly, and helpful plumber to rely on.
