FR Review:
Milton Cleaner's good reputation was built on the expert dry cleaning of your everyday items at a very reasonable price and without any attitude. And, in an age in which most Manhattan dry cleaners (even the ritzy ones) ship all clothing to outer borough facilities for cleaning, Milton has kept it local. All cleaning and tailoring is done on-site at the cleaner's 1,200 sq. ft. facility located at Madison & 92nd. The 4th generation perc machine in the back handles all manner of clothing and several pressers are on hand to ensure that your collar maintains its integrity. Couture, delicate and heavily beaded items are readily taken on, but everyday clothing is Milton's bread and butter.

Eunhee and Gregory Kim have owned and operated the shop for 30 years, though it's been in the same location for more than 50. The Kims are gracious and eager to keep their clients coming back, and customers get the sense that their garments are treated one-by-one. Turnaround time is typically three days, but items can be rushed: with all work being done in back, you will never experience the frustration of having your favorite LBD held hostage in a Bronx facility when a surprise dinner party invitation comes your way. Prices are recommended as extremely reasonable: dress shirts start at $3.00 ($6.00 for hand pressing), wool jackets at $16.50 and men's suits at $24.50. Delivery and pickup are complimentary.

Representative Client Comments:
"Great local cleaner." "The counter staff is extremely friendly." "I might think twice about sending my daughter's christening gown there instead of to a luxury place, but honestly, I've always been pleased with the quality." "Dry cleaning can feel so overpriced, but I never feel ripped off at Milton."
