FR Review:
Pure Yoga is geared toward advanced yogis and beginners alike. The studio highlights over 25 styles, from classical Hatha to Hip Hop Yoga, and there truly is something for everyone in the 100+ classes offered each week. Pure Yoga has two NYC locations--Pure Yoga West and Pure Yoga East. The well-appointed Upper East Side location boasts six serene studios, beautiful lounge areas, pristine showers and a steam room. Pure Yoga East is a retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life, but the vibe borders on "sceney," so don't forget to pack your newest Lululemon workout gear.
This member-only studio costs ~$140 per month, making it a good value for those attending several times a week, but less so for those interested in yoga only occasionally. Amenities are ample and include free mats, towels, shampoo, lotion, razors, etc. Pure Yoga's popularity can result in crowding at peak times, and savvy members are sure to reserve spots online. The instructors are generally high caliber, but have varying tenures, so members may have to try a few before finding the best fit.
Representative Client Comments:
"It's so clean!" "The showers area gorgeous." "It's luxury yoga, to be sure." "Marco's classes are amazing."
