FR Review:
Molton Brown is like a hipper, richer version of Crabtree & Evelyn, making its wares a great thank you gift for bath product snobs. The London-based brand carries an array of products (bath gels, lotions, shampoos, candles, etc) but the scent options are relatively streamlined. With scents that are "to die for," the curtailed selection is considered a good thing, as "deciding which fragrance to pick is already tough enough." The popular and invigorating black pepper body wash is a popular choice for men and anything in the calming yuan zhi line is perfect for women in need of some R&R.

Molton Brown got its start as a hair salon in London's Mayfair in 1973, and began retailing its own plant-based products a few years later. The company is now a global brand recognized for its "scrumptious scents" and "soothing properties," with three brick and mortar locations in New York (Upper East Side, Midtown East and Soho). Some will certainly scoff at paying $30 for a bottle of body wash, but Molton Brown devotees say that the price is worth it for "luxury in a bottle."

Representative Client Comments:
"Probably one of the best-smelling gifts you can give." "My favorite scent is white mulberry--I practically douse myself in it." "It's expensive, but you don't need as much of it as with other products."
