FR Review:
Robin isn't a just a nutritionist, she is a life changer. Her goal is to change her client's long-term habits for the better, and she works effectively towards that end. Robin has all of the tools and knowledge of the profession, and she stays up-to-date on the latest concepts, often suggesting a better option. But what sets Robin apart from others in the field is her success at developing excellent, trusting relationships through ongoing dialog which ultimately results in, well, results.
First of all, Robin is extremely well-qualified. She graduated Cornell with Distinction and as a member of many honor societies including Golden Key and Phi Kappa Phi, earning a BS in Nutritional Science. She then received an MS in Applied Physiology from Columbia, and has a long list of certificates in specialty sports, prenatal and pediatric nutrition. But more importantly than the diplomas on the wall, Robin has an excellent innate ability to develop a program that works. She sets a confidential and professional tone, but importantly augments that with a warm personality and inviting atmosphere. There is an easy-to-use proprietary food diary online that she encourages clients to use. And then there are frequent email and phone followups, likening her more to a coach than a standard nutritionist. The diets are based on sensible balance with as many whole foods as possible, making for a sustainable program. And the goals are set to be small and attainable. For teens, a trip to Whole Foods is often eye-opening, but the key is that Robin will figure our whatever works best for the specific situation.
Clients may find Robin at her comfortable midtown office. Most clients are adults seeking to set a therapeutic, weight-loss or sports performance plan. She also works frequently with children and adolescents. There is a generally higher first visit fee of $250 and then an ongoing session fee of $150. Robin's excellent communications with clients in-between are at no charge. Generally clients meet once a week for 3-6 months to develop a program going that works. Robin is extremely highly recommended by a loyal following.
Representative Client Comments:
"Robin is first and foremost a true professional in this field. I have tried others who definitely were not! And then it is very easy and pleasant to work with her. I would never go to anyone else." "Robin works with you to find a program that makes sense so that you can then take control of your life without constantly having to get counseling.""I really liked working with Robin and then sent my teen to her. I was amazed that Robin got through with a reasonable amount of success."
