FR Review:
Rosenberg Power Window Treatments doesn't make curtains or blinds, and doesn't do upholstery, but it does motorize treatments, and clients say it does so extremely well. The firm can motorize any treatments and even link it with lighting control systems, which helps to maintain the optimal amount of light in your home. Norman Rosenberg, the owner, has been in the business his whole life. In 1958, his parents started a high-end drapery workroom when they came to America from Europe. Rosenberg later focused the company solely on motorization. The firm partners with contractors, designers, electricians and individuals. Though it primarily works with the trade, 20% of its business does come from individuals, and Rosenberg is happy to work with them.

Rosenberg has his own crew of two men, but will also expand that according to demand. The firm does installation and maintenance, including shade cleaning, a rare service. Another unique service that it offers is repairing abandoned systems that were set up by other companies. Typical installs are for all-glass Manhattan apartments and the firm's typical scope is the surrounding New York regions (picture one of those Richard Meier buildings on the Hudson River.) However, Rosenberg has also done projects in Bermuda, St. Louis, San Francisco and Wyoming. The company also does a substantial amount of commercial work for offices and hotels. Prices are quite high and payment is expected up-front. Rosenberg offers an extended warranty on the motorized treatments, which costs roughly 10% of the total price of the job. The warranty covers 100% of the labor, parts and service for eight years after installation. Rosenberg may be expensive, but clients declare that he is the best. So if you want to make the most of the lighting in your home without ever having to touch a single blind, Rosenberg is definitely the place to go.
