Owner and chief designer Michael Madarash has fostered and nurtured kokobo greenscapes into a company that clients extol as "polished, professional, and a pleasure to work with." Kokobo is well staffed and offers a complete menu of services including design, installation and maintenance, specializing in urban landscape design/build projects featuring the gamut of elements – hardscape, lighting, irrigation, outdoor kitchens, wood structures and water features. With little need for subcontractors, the company keeps things running “smoothly, efficiently, and on budget” relying on its in-house talent.
Madarash worked for both his grandfather and father in the landscape industry before receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture and Turf-grass Management from the University of Massachusetts. Founded in 2000, his firm has grown steadily by exhibiting “great flexibility and patience” while working closely with their clients. Kokobo maintains as many as 12 projects at a time, while the design team is working on an additional five. We hear that prices may be “on the high-end, but you can see where it goes when you see the quality of their work.” They are a solid choice for everyday landscape services as well as projects that are logistically difficult.
