FR Review:
Many tailors claim a Savile Row influence; Leonard Logsdail, who opened his own shop in London at age 21 and moved operations to New York in the early nineties, is the real thing. To his American clientele, Logsdail ("Len" to repeat clients) delivers all of the workmanship, tradition and charm of British bespoke suitmaking but none of the pretension. He is refreshingly down-to-earth, even with a roster of celebrities, politicians and business luminaries as regulars (recently, Logsdail provided the suits for Scorcese's "Wolf of Wall Street"). His suits, sources say, are of the highest caliber, with cuts that are often traditional but never in the least bit stuffy. As with other bespoke tailors, the details are everything: sources say Logsdail has a knack for reading client's minds, and turning their whims into stylish accents on a classic shape. Not unexpectedly, Logsdail may not be the best choice for a shiny nightclub suit, but that's hardly a knock against him. The real reason to balk at Longsdail's services is cost, as a full bespoke suit could run well past 5k. However, for those who want the best of British tailoring without hopping on a plane, Logsdail is worth the cost and more.

Representative Client Comments:
"Wonderful suits, wonderful person." "You can't rush a genius like Len, he's an artist." "I was surprised, going into the shop, how friendly and easy it was, even though he's one of the best in the city."
