Since 1897, Hoffman Energy, an AC and heating provider, has been praised for its 24/7/365 service, responding to all problems within the hour. Clients say this large company has never compromised on customer service regardless of its size, and still maintains the personal touch. Its services include selling heating and AC equipment, installation and maintenance, duct cleaning and a unique energy audit service where clients’ energy use is recorded to assist them with conservation techniques. Furthermore, Hoffman is the only heating company that covers almost all of New Haven and Fairfield Counties. Because prices are so fair, its plans are not flexible. Clients have reported problems when moving because they must finish out their contracts, paying for oil and deliveries they will never use (reimbursements are available but there is too much paperwork and the new homeowners need to be involved as well). Despite these small problems, most clients see Hoffman Oil as reliable, inexpensive AC and heating that has been loyally serving Connecticut and New York for over 100 years.
