FR Review:
Known for her ability to effortlessly segue outdoor living areas into indoor living areas, Gina Samarotto prides herself on her knack for creating distinctive, flowing spaces. Clients praise Samarotto for her problem solving skills and range of talents. Not only is Samarotto a landscape architect, but she also does interior and holiday décor designing.
Samarotto received her Master Gardener certification from Cornell University and New York State. She is also a certified landscape architect. Samarotto opened her own business in 1997 in Poughkeepsie, New York, and does most of her work in Westchester, Fairfield, Duchess and Orange Counties. Her firm provides maintenance service for what they designed on the property and winterization on request. She charges a combination of upfront design fee and custom quotes for projects. We hear that prices are on the average for the upscale areas where Samarotto does work.
Clients say that her particular strength lies in the “magnificent” pool areas and outdoor living spaces that she designs. These can also include outdoor kitchens with brick ovens, hearths and fire pits. One client even declared, “After Gina did our pool and spa, we all noticed how much more time we spend outside!”
Representative Client Comments:
“We wanted to create a space where we could entertain outside in the summer.” “I particularly liked her choice of furniture. The chairs and tables aren’t typical wooded outdoor furniture, but have a comfortable, homey feel.” “Our pool blends so well with the natural surroundings.” “Her prices were fair for where we live. Many of my friends paid much more for similar projects with other firms.” "Gina even did our holiday decorating at Christmastime."
