FR Review:
The pride of Cool Tech is their outstanding customer service. Even in the midst of the pandemic they committed, not only to existing customers, but also to new clients, that they would make service calls within 1-2 hours when most other firms were not even picking up the phone. Another strong feature of the company is their ability and genuine interest in installing a wide range of product price points for their customers. While they can and will use the highest end Mitsubishi AC systems which generally are in the $50K+ ballpark for a two-bedroom apartment for most HVAC firms, they also stand by American Standard/Trane units for close to half the cost. While their wheelhouse has traditionally been Brooklyn, they are now actively engaged throughout New York City.
Vinny Croche, who was EPA certified in 1979, stands stalwart at the helm of this firm. Reliability is his watchword, with service dispatched literally 24/7 if necessary. Furthermore, these house calls are without charge if under their annual service contracts, which can be arranged even if they did not do the original installation. There are a handful of tech pros, many of whom have been the company for a decade, all being supervised by Vinny. Currently, they do about 30 installations a year and have over a hundred service contracts, so you know that you will be getting personal attention. New installations come with a year of free service, and UV electronic air filters which are effective with viruses.
The company is effective with all types of HVAC mechanisms including ducted, PTAC (mostly industrial) and ductless (brownstone or rooftop, more EPA efficient). The customers of all roundly applaud Vinny and his teammates for a job well done.
