Looking for high quality vintage items, but don’t have time to troll thrift stores up and down the east coast? Chris Goodman of Totally Bruce will do it for you. Goodman’s grandfather started collecting and reselling antiques from scrapyards, and when Goodman found himself out of work during the downturn, he decided to do the same. He travels to garage sales, estate sales and flea markets all in the name of “the find.”
Goodman has a showroom in Brooklyn and sells items weekly at the Brooklyn Flea. He also has an e-store on VandM.com. We hear you’re not guaranteed to get exactly what you want, but for interesting, whimsical accents or furniture with a rustic feel, Totally Bruce is worth a trip.
