Eighteen employees make up three crews, and every project has a lead technician with one or more helpers (including one driver). For area rug cleaning, New York Carpet Cleaning will travel to a customer’s home for a free consultation. They frequently clean rugs that are 5x8”, 6x9”, 9x12”, 10x12”, and have dealt with area rugs up to 20x20”. Of note is that New York Carpet specializes in pet urine, and clients report that the fi rm is able to tackle even the most difficult jobs of that nature. Additionally, they can even clean some rugs in the client’s home.
We hear the pricing is very fair, and if you have more than one rug, New York Carpet will charge a fl at fee. If you have only one rug, the firm charges between $0.99-6 per square foot depending on the difficulty of the job. The average price for a rug cleaning is $2-4 per square foot. New York Carpet will rush jobs at no additional cost and clean the rug within seven to ten business days from when it was picked up. The firm stands behind its work and will pick up a carpet within thirty days and clean it again if there is any issue. All of the products they use are organic (plant based) or green (made from non-toxic chemicals). Not for highly specialized textiles, but a reliable option for any household, especially a pet-friendly one.
