FR Review:
John Seekircher, the “traveling chiropractor” of the historic window business, has restored antique frames in 36 states. Specializing in English Tudor, leaded windows and steel casements, Seekircher uses his considerable stock of vintage window, door and hardware materials to replace period pieces. He will clean rust, install new steel casements and restore brass hardware to operable condition, all while maintaining the building’s historic integrity. Since opening this family-owned (his son, brother, wife and nephew are all involved) shop in 1977, Seekircher has seen his work grace some of New York’s most prestigious residences and historic buildings, as well as landmarks across the country—most famously, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater. Clients praise Seekircher, saying he and his crew of six are amenable, reliable and timely.
Representative Client Comments:
